When I walked into the room there were four other women who wanted this job. I was scared at first because I thought maybe they'd have a better chance at getting this job than me. I thought wrong. The boss loved me.
I think I know why I got the job! Most the girls wore jeans and sneakers. HELLO you don't go to an interview in jeans and sneakers it's unprofessional. Also, they all had smoker voices like they just got done smoking 20 packs before entering. When asked questions why they wanted to work here or why they'd be good for the job they all said exactly what the person next to them said. None of them smiled. One chicks cell phone went off. It must have helped that I have about three years experience in the field. I smiled and let known of my creativity.
When you go to an interview things you should and shouldn't do.
- Don't wear jeans or sneakers
- Smile a lot
- Make good eye contact
- Don't smell bad
- Give creative answers and ideas
- Listen
- Don't complain
- Don't show your nervous
